On Monday December 16, 1957 the Good Morning Show hosted by Lee Kinard began on WFMY 2 in Greensboro, NC.

    Dick Bennick became the promotions manager at WGHP channel 8 in High Point, NC beginning In January 1968. The Dialing for Dollars Movie proved to be very successful each weekday morning. So much so that an afternoon edition was added when the new fall season began in September 1968.
