WGHP will be celebrating 50 years on the air in October 2013. Throughout this year I will be adding articles,ads and other pieces related to the history of channel 8.
I was sitting in front of our television the afternoon Channel 8signed on. It was a much anticipated event. Unless memory fails me, the first program they ran was a Woody Woodpecker show.
